I am nearly forty years old, and I have just realized that I have become <suspenseful pause> my biological mother <gasps of horror>. For background, my biological mother is, well, a piece of work. I have not spent time with her in nearly 15 years due to her caustic nature. When I realized that many of the traits I despise about her I have become, I was horrified! In this blog I will journal my journey of growing and changing myself into the best version of MYSELF possible. Strap in! I'm keeping this blog anonymous so I will not shy away from revealing some ugly truths about myself and what I am doing to change it. I will be getting down to the nittis grittis, the ugly, the unconscious drivers that shape my personality and actions. This is for anyone who doesn't want to be their parents, or are finding themselves coming to the same realization... that we have already become them.
